The Cricket Australia website has announced the ICC World Test Championship Team of the Tournament.
The team is announced on the basis of best performance during the two-year duration of the World Test Championship.
Pakistan captain Babar Azam was included in the World Test Championship team of the tournament.
Babar Azam played 14 Test matches during the championship and scored 1527 runs at an average of 08.61 including 4 centuries and 10 fifties.
During the championship, Babar Azam, the captain of the national team, played the biggest innings against Australia in which he scored 196 runs.
The announced team includes Australia’s Usman Khawaja, Travis Head and Pat Cummins, Pat Cummins has also been appointed as the captain of the team.
Apart from this, the team includes India’s Ravindra Jadeja, Rishabh Pant, Ravichandran Ashwin, England’s Joe Root and James Anderson, Sri Lanka’s Damoth Karuna Ratne and South Africa’s Kagiso Rabada.
It should be noted that the final of the World Test Championship is scheduled in England from June 7 to 11.
The teams of Australia and India will compete in the final of the ICC World Test Championship.
