Talking to Geo News in Karachi, Salim Yusuf said that unilateral decisions are not made in cricket, Pakistan is not an ordinary team, it is considered among the top teams in the world.
He said that cricket fans want to watch Pakistan-India matches, if India thinks that it is a big team and it will not go to Pakistan, then Pakistan should not go to India because all the big teams of the world have come to Pakistan.
Saleem Yusuf said that Australia, England and New Zealand all teams came to Pakistan and played series, India should also come to Pakistan and play Asia Cup, cricket fans want to see both countries play together.
To a question, the former Test cricketer said that Shaheen Shah is a young bowler who has just returned from injury and it would not be appropriate to burden him with captaincy or vice-captaincy.
Salim Yusuf said that Babar Azam is the best captain, he should remain the captain, I don’t understand where the talk of changing the captain is coming from.
