Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf Chairman Imran Khan says that the Election Commission has violated the constitution by postponing the elections.
In his statement on the social networking website Twitter, Chairman PTI Imran Khan said that we have dissolved our 2 provincial assemblies in the hope that the elections will be held in 90 days.
Imran Khan said that we had not taken this step so that a group of fascists would play with the constitution and law.
He said that to remain silent is to end the supremacy of the constitution and law in Pakistan.
The PTI chairman further said that now Pakistanis have to stand with the judiciary and lawyers community.
It should be noted that the Election Commission has postponed the Punjab Assembly elections to be held on April 30.
The Election Commission has issued an official order postponing the elections, according to which the elections in Punjab will be held on October 8.
