Despite the International Court of Justice issuing an arrest warrant for Russian President Vladimir Putin, Russia’s attacks on Ukraine continue. One Ukrainian citizen was killed and three others were injured in the attacks carried out during 24 hours.

According to Al Jazeera’s report, the Ukrainian Air Force says that between Friday and Saturday night, 16 Russian drones targeted the capital city of Kiev and the western city of Lviv. Air Force Command wrote on Telegram that 11 out of 16 drones were destroyed.

According to the Ukrainian Air Force, these attacks were carried out from the Russian province of Bryansk, which borders the Sea of ​​Azov and Ukraine.

In an update released by the Ukrainian military on its Facebook patch on Saturday morning, it was reported that over the past 24 hours, Russian forces had carried out 34 airstrikes and fired one missile. Apart from this, it also operates anti-aircraft weapons.

According to the Ukrainian army, seven houses and a school were destroyed as a result of the Russian attacks in the southern Kherson province.

On Friday, Russian forces shelled 11 towns, killing one civilian and injuring three, the governor of Donetsk province said.

According to the governor, Russian rockets hit a residential part of the city of Zaporizhia. No one was killed in these attacks but many houses were destroyed.

It should be noted that a statement was issued by the International Court of Justice on Friday, in which it was said that an arrest warrant has been issued for Russian President Vladimir Putin for committing war crimes.
