Karachi: The threat of flour crisis was averted after successful negotiations between the flour mills owners and the food minister.
According to the details, after the negotiations, the sealed flour mills in other districts of Sindh including Karachi were de-sealed and the flour mills announced to start flour production activities immediately while withdrawing the decision to end the strike.
According to Chairman Flour Mills Association Chaudhry Aamir, talks were going on for 3 hours with the Minister of Food and Secretary Khorak, the government has assured to provide the fixed monthly quota of wheat.
He said that flour will be sold to the people at a reasonable price. On the other hand, Flour Mills has also announced to start delivery of flour immediately
