Peshawar: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa caretaker provincial minister Haji Muhammad Ghafran announced not to take salary and benefits.

According to Express News, caretaker provincial minister Haji Mohammad Ghofran announced not to take his salary and other benefits and he also sent a letter to caretaker chief minister Azam Khan in this regard.

In his written letter, he said that I will not accept any kind of government emoluments or salary during the performance of official affairs and declare my resignation.

Meanwhile, the swearing-in ceremony of the caretaker provincial minister was held at Governor House Peshawar in which Manzoor Khan Afridi, the 15th member of the caretaker provincial cabinet, took the oath of office as the caretaker provincial minister.

Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Haji Ghulam Ali administered the oath of office to caretaker provincial minister Manzoor Khan Afridi, in the oath-taking ceremony, caretaker chief minister Muhammad Azam Khan also participated in the oath-taking ceremony.

Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Haji Ghulam Ali’s caretaker provincial minister Manzoor Khan Afridi congratulated and expressed good wishes. The ceremony was attended by the caretaker provincial ministers Shafiullah, Fazl Elahi, Hamid Shah, Commissioner Peshawar Riaz Mehsud, heads of administrative departments and other political and social personalities.
