Lahore High Court Rawalpindi Bench restored Murree district

Rawalpindi: The Lahore High Court Rawalpindi Bench suspended the caretaker government’s notification while restoring Murree district.

High Court Rawalpindi Bench Judge Justice Tanveer Sultan pronounced the verdict.

A notice was issued to the caretaker chief minister and the government regarding why the status of Murree district was abolished and a response was sought.

People’s Party leader Shaukat Sati, former MNA Sadaqat Abbasi, former Nazim Shakeel Abbasi and president of Anjuman Tajran Marri Akhlaq Abbasi were challenged.
