PTI approaches the court to form a judicial commission on audio leak

Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf approached the Lahore High Court to form a judicial commission on the audio leak issue.

President of PTI Central Punjab Yasmin Rashid filed the petition through the mediation of Rana Mudassar Advocate in which Ministry of Interior, Chief Secretary of Ministry of Defense and others have been made parties.

According to the petitioner, the audio taping of PTI’s senior leadership is being leaked, the audio leaking is a violation of fundamental rights.

It was requested that a judicial commission consisting of senior judges of the High Court should be formed to investigate the audio leak issue and orders should be given to the PTA to stop broadcasting the audio leak in the media.
