Karachi: The University of Karachi administration expelled the student from the university for harassing the student and pulling the dupatta from her head.

The said decision was made in the meeting held on Friday of the Disciplinary Committee of the University of Karachi, which was chaired by the ex-officio head of the committee and Acting Vice-Chancellor Justice (retd) Hasan Feroze, while the other members included advisors for student affairs Dr. Nosheen, Dr. Samar Sultana and Dr. Ekhta Ulfat was involved.

It should be noted that the above-mentioned incident also occurred during the examination in the School of Law on Friday morning when a student pulled the dupatta from the head of a female student in the examination room, causing chaos on the spot and the student ran away from the spot. tried but the staff of the School of Law caught the student.

When contacted by Express, University of Karachi Acting Vice-Chancellor Justice (retd) Hasan Feroze confirmed the incident and the consequent expulsion of the student from the university forever.

He said that when the Student Affairs Adviser reached Dr. Nausheen School of Law after receiving the information about the incident, the victim student informed him about the incident in writing, but when the Student Affairs Adviser tried to talk to the student involved in this act. So he refused to talk.

The Disciplinary Committee decided that there is no need to call the student before the Committee and the Committee jointly decided to cancel the admission of the said student studying in LLB ninth semester permanently from the University of Karachi. The decision has been taken while the minutes of the meeting have been prepared and the registrar of University of Karachi has been directed to issue a notification.
