Peshawar High Court summoned the Attorney General for the next hearing

The Peshawar High Court has extended the injunction prohibiting the taking of oath on certain seats of the Sunni Ittehad Council.

A five-member larger bench of the Peshawar High Court, headed by Justice Ishtiaq Ibrahim, heard the petition filed by the Sunni Ittehad Council for specific seats.

Babar Awan Advocate argued that the presidential election is going on and the party with 93 seats has not been given reserved seats, the party which has one assembly member in the province has got two reserved seats, the Election Commission has gifted reserved seats to these parties. give

Additional Attorney General Sanaullah said that time is needed for the preparation of the case, the Attorney General is in the Supreme Court today, it would be good if time is given in this case.

PTI lawyer Qazi Anwar Advocate also said that the new Advocate General will be appointed today, who will appear in this case.

Justice Ishtiaq Ibrahim remarked that the Attorney General should appear at the next hearing, the injunction will be until Wednesday, and will hear the case again on Wednesday.

The Peshawar High Court extended the injunction till March 13 and adjourned the hearing for a week.
