Karachi: As the roads of Liaquatabad area of ​​the central district were submerged in sewage water, the life of the citizens became miserable.

From the rear of Liaquatabad No. 2 Supermarket to Jhanda Chowk No. 3 and School No. 4, sewage water and piles of filth are spreading in all the streets and main roads, women and elderly people are forced to wade through the sewage water.

All the streets behind Liaquatabad supermarket are submerged in sewage water, all roads leading to No. 2 Rehmaniya Masjid are blocked, similarly there is sewage water in the boundaries of No. 3 Islamia Masjid, which leads to the mosque for worshipers. Transportation has become difficult.

Liaquatabad No. 4 school is surrounded by piles of dirt, cuisine center from No. 2 to 4, furniture factories, shops and markets are also submerged in sewage water. It is impossible to come up with which is increasing unemployment.

Residents of the area say that the sewage system has been disrupted for the past one year due to which they are forced to live a miserable life. Went but no hearing could be done.

Residents of the area said that they had used their right to vote in the local government elections with the hope that the elected local government representatives could solve the problems of the area, but the results of the elections and the appointment of the local government representatives have also been delayed, which is increasing the problems.

Residents have said that Liaquatabad is being deliberately neglected and there is a lack of serious efforts to address the area’s problems.
