Islamabad High Court;  The government has been given until February 13 to recover the missing Baloch students

Islamabad: The High Court has given a deadline of February 13 to the federal government to recover the missing Baloch students.

Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani issued a written order for the hearing on the case of missing Baloch students, in which the court asked the federal government for a final report on the arrival of all the missing persons at the next hearing.

In the order, the court said that the court deadline for the recovery of Baloch missing students is extended till February 13. Affidavits are not being sought from the Prime Minister, Secretary of Interior and Defense and heads of law enforcement agencies. If the missing persons are not recovered, they will give an affidavit and action will be taken as per law.

According to the order of the High Court, the Attorney General presented the list of forcibly disappeared Baloch students in the court. The court was told that the cases of 12 Baloch missing students are pending. The federal government assured that no one will be abducted or forcibly disappeared in the future. The Attorney General assured that all the missing persons will be freed or rescued. He also said that action will be taken according to law against those involved in illegal activities.

The written order further said that these statements and actions are positive signs for a better future of Pakistan. This will help Baloch families whose loved ones have been missing for years. Sami Deen Baloch said that more than a decade has passed since his father went missing. As a test case, this matter is also referred to the Attorney General. Attorney General should inquire about Sami Deen Baloch’s father from the state agencies.

The court wrote in the order that Sami Deen Baloch said that a group known as death squad has also set up camp in Balochistan. SHO Kohsar said that the representatives of Baloch martyrs have also set up their camp for sit-in. According to the police, the two camps are located in opposite directions with a clear boundary line. The police have assured that law and order situation and security will be ensured at the protest site.
