The motorcycle-riding robbers hit a stone along the road while firing.
Islamabad: The bandit who escaped after stealing a motorcycle from a citizen died in a road accident.
According to the spokesperson of Islamabad Capital Police, the accused snatched the motorcycle from the citizen and fled towards Zero Point. The victim citizen was also chasing the robbers by taking the lift from the carry box.
The police also cordoned off the call of the incident. As soon as the robbers turned from Zero Point bridge, there was a police blockade ahead.
The motorcycle-borne robbers opened fire on the carry box. While firing, the robbers hit a stone along the road and fell down.
One robber was seriously injured in the fall and died while two other robbers escaped from the spot.
The driver of the carry box was injured by the robbers’ firing. Police recovered a motorcycle, mobile phone and weapons from the spot.
