The written reply states that Zaka Ashraf is a well-known businessman and is currently the Chairman PCB.
In the written reply of the Ministry of Inter-Provincial Coordination, it is stated that Zaka Ashraf is currently the Chairman of Ashraf Group of Industries.
In the written reply, it has been said that Zaka Ashraf is currently the Chairman Sugar Research Development Board and a member of Chief Minister Punjab Agriculture Task Force.
In the written reply of the Ministry of Inter-Provincial Coordination, it has been stated that Zaka Ashraf’s experience is Chairman PCB and Chairman Asian Cricket Council Development Committee.

Criticism of Senator Mushtaq
In this regard, Jamaat-e-Islami Senator Mushtaq Ahmed has criticized and said that Chairman PCB Zaka Ashraf is the Chairman of Sugar Mills and a member of the Chamber of Commerce.
He says that any experience of Zaka Ashraf is neither of sports nor of cricket, he has written cricket as his hobby.
Senator Mushtaq Ahmed also says that our Olympics and hockey have been destroyed.
Zaka Ashraf can’t make any big decision: Murtaza Solangi
Caretaker Federal Minister for Information, Broadcasting and Parliamentary Affairs Murtaza Solangi while expressing his views in the House said that the current chairman PCB was not appointed by the caretaker government, he was appointed by the previous government.
He said that the current government has limited the powers of the Chairman PCB, the current government has ordered Zaka Ashraf to hold an election.
Caretaker Federal Information Minister Murtaza Solangi has also said that Zaka has told Ashraf that he cannot take any major decision.
