Pakistan’s young opener Saeem Ayub will play his first Test match against Australia in Sydney, he has represented Pakistan in 8 T20 Internationals while off-spinner Sajid Khan will play a Test match after almost two years.
The 21-year-old top-order batsman Saeem Ayub, who has been aggressive in T20 matches and made his delivery, created history in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy final where he scored a century in one innings and a double century in one.
In his first-class career, Sime has scored 1069 runs in 14 matches with the help of three centuries and as many half-centuries.
He got an entry in the Test squad for his outstanding performance and is being given a Test cap against Australia in Sydney.
Saeem Ayub has also represented Pakistan in 8 T20 Internationals.
The second entry in the Pakistan team is off-spinner Sajid Khan, the 30-year-old spinner made his debut against Zimbabwe in 2021, played 7 Tests in a year and took 22 wickets.
Now after 20 months of waiting, he will be in action in the two Tests.
