The International Cricket Council (ICC) has barred Australian opener Usman Khawaja from making a mark in favor of Palestine.
The ICC has banned the Australian cricketer from making the Fakhta symbol on the bat and the peace symbol on the shoe in favor of Palestine.
The opening batsman had also held several meetings with Cricket Australia in this regard.
Ahead of the Boxing Day Test, he was seen practicing with a reference to Article One of the World Human Rights Organization on his bat and a black dot symbol on his boots.
Earlier, Usman Khawaja played with a black armband against Israeli aggression in Palestine in the first Test.
Usman Khawaja wanted to write the slogan ‘All lives are equal’ and ‘Freedom is a human right’ on his bat.
