Navy leads with four gold medals on first day of 7th Chief of Naval Staff Shooting Championship Higher Education is second and Air Force is third. Ten teams are participating in the championship.
Four events were contested on the first day of the ongoing championship at the PNS Karsaz Shooting Range in which the Navy shooters dominated.
In the women’s 50m rifle event, all three positions went to Navy. Navy’s Mehwish won gold, Sara Salim won silver and Hadiqa Iqbal won bronze.
In 10m rifle men’s three positions were also won by Navy, Atif won gold, Hamza won silver and Hasan Abbas won bronze.
In the 10m team event, Navy won gold, Higher Education won silver and Pakistan Air Force won bronze.
In the 50m women’s team event, Navy took the first position, Higher Education took the second position and Sindh took the third position.
By the end of the first day of play, Navy is at the top position with four gold, two silver and two bronze medals. The Higher Education team is second with two silver medals and the Air Force is third with one bronze medal.
