In the first semi-final of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) U-19 Asia Cup, United Arab Emirates qualified for the final after defeating Pakistan.
In the semi-final of the U-19 Asia Cup in the match played in Dubai, UAE played a brilliant game and defeated Pakistan by 11 runs in the most important match.
Pakistan made it to the semi-finals by defeating teams from Nepal, India and Afghanistan in the event.
Batting first, the UAE team was bowled out for 193 runs in 47.5 overs, with Ayan Afzal scoring 55 runs and Aryanesh Sharma scoring 46 runs.
Obaid Shah took 4 wickets while Ali Asfand and Irfan Minhas took 2 and 2 wickets respectively.
Pakistan U-19 team could not play well in pursuit of the target of 194 runs and the whole team returned to the pavilion on 182 runs, thus UAE won the match by 11 runs.
The final of the U-19 Asia Cup will be played on Sunday between Bangladesh and the United Arab Emirates in Dubai.
