Islamabad: Ex-chairman PTI Imran Khan was summoned to court in illegal marriage case.
District and Sessions Court Islamabad has summoned Imran Khan for the next hearing in the case of illegal marriage against former Chairman PTI and Bushra Bibi.
Senior Civil Judge Qudratullah issued a one-page written hearing order, in which Bushra Bibi’s request for exemption from one-day attendance is granted. To ensure attendance, Bushra Bibi should deposit personal bonds worth Rs 50,000 as security.
According to the order, former Chairman PTI is in Adiala Jail. His attendance via Skype could not be done due to technical reasons. Jail Superintendent should ensure the presence of ex-chairman PTI at the next hearing. Copies of the complaint and other documents have been provided to the parties. The next hearing of the case will be held on December 18.
