Afghanistan cricket team captain Heshmatullah Shahidi has said that victory against England is the first success of World Cup 2023 but not the last.
In New Delhi, Afghanistan defeated the defending champion England by 69 in the 13th match of the event and claimed their first victory in the World Cup 2023.
On this occasion, the captain of the Afghan team said that the team has potential, we have lost close in the previous matches as well.
Heshmatullah Shahidi further said that he will try to succeed in the next matches as well.
Afghanistan’s next match is against New Zealand in Chennai on October 18.
