Sources say that the fixed monthly charges for protected gas consumers have been proposed to be increased from Rs.10 to Rs.400, the gas prices for the consumers have been proposed to increase by almost 200%.
It has also been proposed to increase the price of gas up to 172% for domestic consumers, and it has been proposed to increase the price of gas up to 198.33% for consumers other than households.
