Chairman Exchange Companies Association Malik Bustan has said that a black market was created due to the cap on the dollar.
In a statement, Malik Bustan said that the exchange companies have removed the dollar cap of the open market.
He said that the black market was giving a good return of the dollar, the exchange rate of the dollar has increased by 5 rupees in 2 days.
Malik Bostan further said that workers’ remittances decreased from 1 billion dollars to 2 billion dollars per month.
He said that the procedure will be decided in the next day’s meeting with the State Bank.
