Rawalpindi: Lawyers announced a strike and boycott of court proceedings on Thursday, October 5, after a case was registered against the Secretary General of Lahore District Bar.
District Bar President Faisal Niazi said that the false case against the Secretary Bar should be withdrawn immediately, lawyers will boycott the courts on October 5 and will also take out a protest rally against the filing of the case.
He said that there will be a strike in the Rawalpindi High Court Bench and the District Bar as well.
On the appeal of the Punjab Bar Council, lawyers in the courts across Punjab will go on strike tomorrow, October 5.
