Former Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar has been appointed as the Global Ambassador of the World Cup 2023.
Tendulkar’s appointment was announced by the International Cricket Council (ICC) on Tuesday.
ICC says that Sachin Tendulkar will announce the start of World Cup 2023 and will come to the field with the World Cup trophy before the opening match.
It should be noted that Sachin Tendulkar has represented India in 6 editions of the World Cup.
