UK meat exports to the Middle East have seen a big increase.
From January to June of this year, Britain’s worldwide exports of venison meat were 277 million pounds, 43 thousand 374 tons of meat were exported.
In this, meat worth 3.9 lakh pounds was exported to Kuwait, 7.80 thousand pounds to United Arab Emirates and 1.35 thousand pounds to Jordan.
Meat exports increased by 21% to Kuwait and 122% to Jordan.
Britain’s Agriculture and Horticulture Board is investing 180,000 pounds in next year’s Gulf Food Festival in the Middle East.
The event will be held in Dubai World Trade Center in February next year.
