Former Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Najam Sethi has spoken in favor of the team following criticism on social media following the disappointing performance of the Pakistan team in Asia Cup 2023.
In his statement, Najam Sethi said that various things are being said about the Pakistan team on social media. Someone is talking about grouping while someone is criticizing the players and management.
Continuing his talk, Najam Sethi said that Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi, Shadab Khan, Fakhar Zaman, Mohammad Rizwan and Naseem Shah are champion cricketers while a competent team management is working with the players.
He also said that ‘Pakistanis, instead of spreading negativity, support the team.’
