World Wrestling Championship 2023 started in Serbia, Pakistan’s top wrestler Inam Butt suffered defeat in the first round.
Muhammad Inam Butt of Pakistan was in action for the 86 kg category on the first day of the championship in Belgrade.
In the first round, Inam Butt faced Spain’s representative wrestler Frivo Naskidova.
Inam Butt took the lead in the first round against the Olympian wrestler by scoring one point, but in the second round, Freevo pinned Inam twice and scored important points.
Thus, Inam Batt is 11 in the first round. 1 was defeated.
Pakistan’s Inayatullah and Muhammad Bilal will be in action on Sunday in the event.
Wrestlers who secure the first 5 positions in each weight category in the World Championship will qualify for the Paris Olympics.
