South Africa batted first and scored 338 runs for 6 wickets in the match played at Poschefstrom.

Aiden Markram played an unbeaten innings of 102 runs. Quinton D Cook scored 82, Tumbabavuma 57 and Reza Hendricks scored 39 runs.

Chasing the target, the Australian team was bowled out for 227 runs in 34.3 overs, with David Warner scoring 78, Travis Head 38 and Mitchell Marsh scoring 29.

Gerald Quidzi of South Africa dismissed 4 players while Tabriz Shamsi and Keshav Maharaj took 2 wickets each.

Australia has a 1-2 lead in the five-match series. The next match will be played at Centurion on September 15.
