Karachi: Showbiz industry artists reacted to the skyrocketing inflation and huge increase in electricity prices in Pakistan.
While the people are protesting against the excessive electricity prices and double bills across the country, there is also a strong condemnation and indignation being expressed by the actors.
Actress Zara Noor Abbas, while sharing a video of a citizen who is worried due to the electricity bill, has appealed in a social media statement that the people of means should help the people around them and the employees more than usual by giving them extra in addition to their salary. Give money, because the rate of inflation is on the rise in our country.
Actor Sami Khan has prayed to God for mercy while retweeting the said video.

On the other hand, actor Mohib Mirza took the government in a sarcastic manner and wrote on his Instagram story that ‘Thankfully we didn’t go to the moon, otherwise the fuel adjustment charges of the rocket would have been added to the electricity bill’.
It should be noted that nationwide protests against the increase in inflation rate and additional electricity bills are ongoing.
