Islamabad: The US Ambassador has met the Chief Election Commissioner, in which he has assured US support for the elections.
According to the statement issued by the spokesperson of the American Embassy, in the meeting of the American Ambassador Donald Bloom with the Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja, the holding of free and fair elections was discussed according to the constitution and law of Pakistan, in which he said that the elections should be transparent. He assured American support.
Donald Bloom said during the meeting that it is the job of the Pakistani people to choose the future leaders of Pakistan. America is determined to deepen and expand relations with Pakistan. The United States will continue to work closely with the elected representatives of Pakistanis.
