Serbia’s Novak Djokovic defeated Spain’s Carlos Alcarez to win the Cincinnati Open final.
In the final of the Cincinnati Open, Serbia’s Novak Djokovic and world number one Carlos Alcarez faced off.
Alcarez won the first set 5-7 after which Djokovic showed his class and won the remaining two sets 6-7 and 6-7 to claim the title.
The match between Djokovic and Alcarez lasted for more than three hours.
It should be noted that Alcarez defeated Djokovic in the Wimbledon 2023 final.
On the other hand, in the women’s final, Coco Gough of America won the final by defeating Karolina Mikova of Czech Republic in straight sets.
Coco Gough’s winning scores were 3-6 and 4-6.
