Islamabad: Nepra has approved a reduction of Rs 10.80 paise per unit in K Electric’s December fuel adjustment charges.
Nepra says it will not apply to domestic consumers, lifeline and agricultural consumers up to 300 units and electric vehicle charging stations.
K Electric had requested a reduction of Rs 10 26 paisa per unit in fuel adjustment from Nepra.
The authority held a public hearing on the fuel adjustment on January 31, 2023. Earlier, the November fuel adjustment was charged to consumers with a reduction of Rs 7.43 paise per unit which was only for 1 month.
Nepra says that the fuel adjustment for December will be charged Rs 3.37 paise per unit less than November which will be applicable for 1 month only.
