Peshawar: There will be a public holiday in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on the beginning of the Islamic New Year.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will be a public holiday at the beginning of the Islamic year after the Central Sighting of the Crescent Committee announced the sighting of the Muharram moon.
It should be noted that the public holiday of 1st of Muharram was announced during the government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, when Pervez Khattak was the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
