Lahore: The accountability court reserved its decision on the plea of acquittal of Shahbaz Sharif and Hamza Shahbaz.
The hearing on the applications of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Hamza Shehbaz Sharif and others was held in the Accountability Court of Lahore, in which Hamza filed a request for attendance exemption on medical grounds, on which the court approved the request for one day attendance exemption.
During the hearing, on the basis of the application, it was argued that the case was made on political grounds, for which there is no evidence. The petition for acquittal has been filed but is not being heard. The court ordered an early hearing on the acquittal petitions.
The accountability court reserved its verdict on completion of arguments, which will be pronounced on July 20.
