Oman’s Foreign Minister Seyyed Badr Al-Busidi has expressed his desire to visit the Al-Aqsa Mosque from the Israeli Foreign Ministry.
According to foreign media reports, Badr al-Bousidi will visit Palestine in the coming weeks, during which he also wants to visit Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Badr al-Busaidi has contacted the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding cooperation for visiting Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen is also considering a meeting with his Omani counterpart. However, it was not clear whether Badr Albusaidi was interested in the meeting or not.
In March of this year, Oman announced the opening of its airspace for Israeli planes, after which Eli Cohen had a telephone conversation with Albusidi.
At the beginning of this month, the Omani Foreign Minister gave an interview to a media organization and said that his country is ready to normalize relations with Israel, but the right of the Palestinians cannot be given up for this.
He had said that the establishment of a Palestinian state is a condition of Oman for the complete restoration of relations with Israel.
