Nepal has lifted the ban on the screening of Hindi films in the country except for the Bollywood film Adi Purush.
It should be noted that due to the controversial dialogue in the movie Adi Purush, a controversy arose against him in Nepal.
In this regard, the Indian media says that the ban imposed a few days ago was lifted by the Nepalese government on Friday. However, the ban on the screening of the film Adi Purush remains.
Now many cinemas in Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal, have started screening other Hindi films besides Adi Purush.
Earlier on Thursday, Patan High Court Single Bench Judge Dhir Bahadur Chand had said in a brief order that the screening of films which have been allowed cannot be banned.
