Addressing a meeting held in Charsadda, Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Sirajul Haque said that the political parties were hypocritical towards the people. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) deceived the people. We don’t want a debt economy.
Amir Jamaat-e-Islami said that we want the right of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, not charity. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was made debt free by me. Our services were also recognized by our political opponents.
Sirajul Haque said that the rulers have only agreed to their privileges. The rulers are not ready to end corruption and privileges. It is a pity that Maulana Fazlur Rahman also did not support the abolition of the Sudi system.
He said that transparent elections will be held in the country. If the election is delayed, they will fight together with the people. People of Karachi rejected corruption and Zardari. The Election Commission decided that 3 lakhs win and 9 lakhs lose.
He said that our demand is that the election of the mayor should be held again in Karachi. They will protest against the Election Commission in Islamabad tomorrow.
