In the ongoing event in Tehran, Pakistan’s Ahsan Ramzan overcame his nerves against his Indian opponent and came back from a 3-2 deficit to win 3-4.
In the best-of-seven frames quarterfinal, Ahsan took the lead by winning the first two frames 19-76 and 36-76, but then India’s Digvijay Kadian won three consecutive frames to make the score 3-2.
In such a situation, Ahsan Ramzan controlled his nerves and won the match 3-4 by scoring the last two frames 27-65 and 9-70 and qualified for the semi-finals.
