The Interim Management Committee formed to run the affairs of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) was dissolved while Chairman Najam Sethi was suspended.
The Ministry of Inter-Provincial Coordination (IPC) also issued a notification to dissolve the PCB Management Committee.
The notification stated that the PCB Management Committee has been dissolved after the expiry of the extension period.
It also said that the affairs of the PCB are assigned to the Election Commissioner appointed by the Patron-in-Chief of the Board.
It should be noted that the Prime Minister had appointed Ahmed Shahzad Farooq Rana as Election Commissioner.
