Lahore: Maryam Nawaz, chief organizer of (N) League met Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and discussed party issues.
According to (N) League party sources, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz decided to persuade the angry party leaders to remove the reservations of Shahid Khaqan Abbasi.
In the meeting, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi’s resignation, by-elections and possible elections in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were discussed. The two leaders discussed the organization of the party and other issues of the party, including consultations on organizing the ongoing workers’ conventions of Maryam Nawaz across the country.
Shahbaz Sharif said that he will participate in the elections with full preparation. Shahbaz Sharif will soon issue a message regarding the elections for the League workers.
