Former Zimbabwe cricket team captain Heath Streak is seriously ill due to cancer.
According to foreign media, 49-year-old former fast bowler Heath Streak is undergoing treatment in a hospital in Johannesburg, South Africa, and his condition is critical.
Heathstreak’s family have said he is in good spirits and is receiving treatment.
Heath Streak left the captaincy in 2004 due to problems with the cricket board, while in 2005, at the age of 31, he announced his retirement from international cricket.
During his career, Heath Streak represented Zimbabwe in 65 Tests and 189 One Day Internationals.
He scored 1990 runs and 216 wickets in Test matches while scored 2943 runs and took 239 wickets in ODI matches.
