Justice Musrat Hilali’s expression of concern over the current situation in the country
Chief Justice Peshawar High Court Justice Musrat Hilali has said that the current situation of the country is sad.
In Peshawar High Court, a hearing was held on the request of Speaker Provincial Assembly Mushtaq Ghani regarding Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly elections. The response was submitted by the Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Chief Justice of Peshawar High Court, Justice Musrat Hilali expressed concern over the situation of the country and said that the current situation of the country is sad.
Justice Shakeel Ahmed remarked that all the people are worried about this uncertain situation, God willing, if these problems end as soon as possible, then this country will develop.
The petitioner’s lawyer pleaded that since 90 days have passed since the dissolution of the assembly, the date of election has not been given yet, the case should be fixed for hearing next week.
Chief Justice Musrat Hilali said that we are also aware of what is happening in the country, our forefathers have sacrificed for this country and we have also served jails, who will worry about this country more than us.
Justice Shakeel Ahmed said that we will decide according to the constitution and law, we will give you the date of the next hearing after mutual consultation.
