Islamabad: Egypt’s famous Jamia Al-Azhar Al-Sharif has said on the Peshawar mosque attack that only misguided and depraved elements can carry out such despicable attacks.
Condemning the Peshawar mosque attack, the statement issued by Al-Azhar University said that targeting the place of worship and the house of God, undermining its sanctity and making it a martyr is against Islamic teachings and human and moral values. .
Al-Azhar University has said that only misguided, ignorant of Islamic teachings, humane and moral values and fear-mongering elements can carry out such heinous attacks.
Jamia Al-Azhar further said that we pray to Allah Almighty to have mercy on the deceased, give patience to their families and speedy recovery to the injured.
