Yorkshire sign Saud Shakeel

Yorkshire have officially announced the signing of Pakistani batsman Saud Shakeel for the County Championship.

Saud Shakeel will play 4 first-class matches for Yorkshire County Cricket Club, his debut is likely to be on April 13 against Gloucestershire.

Yorkshire director Darren Gough said Saud Shakeel would be a great player for the club.

He said that Saud Shakeel played the best Test cricket against New Zealand and England, this player achieved success very early in his career.

Yorkshire have signed Saud Shakeel following the injury to New Zealand fast bowler Neil Wagner.

Saud Shakeel could not play the first match of the county championship due to delay in obtaining a visa.
