Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has started contacts with political parties in connection with the campaign to save the judiciary.
According to Central Media Department, Tehreek-e-Insaf Central Secretary General Asad Umar and Senator Ejaz Ahmed Chaudhry reached the center of Jamaat-e-Islami, Mansurah and met with Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Sirajul Haque.
In the meeting, the country’s political situation and matters of mutual interest were discussed. The leaders agreed to maintain continuity of ties between Tehreek-e-Insaf and Jamaat-e-Islami in the future.
It was also fully agreed that the only way out of the current political crisis is a unified constitution and democratic system of Pakistan.
