Hackers have stolen the data of 14 million users in Australia and New Zealand.
The stolen data included customers’ driving license numbers, passport numbers and financial statements.
The private company also offers personal loans, car loans, credit cards, insurance and other facilities to customers.
Driving license numbers and 53,000 passport data of 7.9 million users in Australia and New Zealand were stolen.
Another 6.1 million included names, addresses, phone numbers and dates of birth.
The company said in mid-March that its data had been hacked and records of more than 200,000 users, including 100,000 identification documents, had been stolen.
But the company had no idea that the volume of stolen data was much larger.
