Former Pakistani cricketer Imran Nazir has revealed that he spent 3 days in jail.
In a podcast, Imran Nazir described the incident of a pistol coming out of a bag at the airport.
Imran Nazir said that my heart is clean, everyone knows about this incident, nothing came out after the investigation.
He said that in those days I lived in Meredke and did not travel much, Miranam came for the under-19 team against South Africa, we were coming to Karachi.
Imran Nazir said that while passing through the machine at the airport, I was asked whose bag this is, to which I said that it is mine.
The former cricketer said that at the airport I was asked 3 times whose bag it was, to which I said it was mine, then I was separated, there were pistols and bullets lying on top of the bag.
Imran Nazir said that at first I thought it was a toy but it was all real, the ground was gone from under my feet.
He said that after this incident I was handcuffed and stayed in jail for 3 days then PCB also got involved in this matter, I was kept in jail properly.
Imran Nazir said that when your intention is good then bad can never happen to you, those 3 days in jail seemed like 30 years.
He said that on his return from jail, the coaches taught him to forget the incident as a nightmare and focus on cricket.
