U.S. Attorney Nadia Kahf, appointed to the Supreme Court of New Jersey, became the first female Muslim judge wearing a hijab.
Nadia Kahf took the oath of office by placing her hand on the Quran.
While addressing the event, she said that she is proud of representing the Muslim and Arab communities, she wants people to be able to practice their religion without any fear.
