Judicial Complex Tragedy;  Another case filed against Imran Khan

Islamabad: An FIR has been registered against Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan and other leaders in the Judicial Complex Islamabad tragedy.

Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan and 17 PTI leaders were named in the case. The FIR was registered against SHO Rashid of Ramna police station.

A total of 38 vandalizing protesters were detained. CTD has registered a case against Imran Khan and 17 PTI leaders.

It is written in the case that Imran Khan reached the judicial complex along with the crowd at 3:30, while the crowd accompanying Imran Khan pelted stones on the police. The PT workers tried to enter the judicial complex by breaking the gate and the PT workers surrounded the judicial complex from all sides.

According to the text of the case, PTI workers surrounded and tortured the policemen and set fire to the police check post on G-11. The official vehicle of the SHO of Golra police station was vandalized.

A 9 mm pistol, an official wireless and 20 thousand rupees were stolen from the official vehicle, while the protesters also took away 8 anti-rights kits from the policemen. Protesters burnt two government vehicles and 7 motorcycles parked in the parking area, protesters smashed 16 vehicles and four motorcycles outside the judicial complex with sticks and stones.

PTI workers broke the iron fence on the wall of the judicial complex, stones and materials used in the attack on the police were recovered from the arrested workers. PTI workers also attacked the policemen with petrol bombs.

Terrorism, interference in government, damage to public and private property and other provisions have been included in the case.

Ali Nawaz Awan, Aamir Mehmood Kayani, Asad Qaiser, Farrukh Habib, Asad Umar, Umar Ayub, Jamshed Mughal, Ali Amin Gandapur, Ehsan Khan Niazi, Mohammad Asim and Shibli Faraz are also named in the FIR.
