What Babar explained was applied against his own team, Rahmanullah Garbaz

Rahmanullah Garbaz, the Afghan cricketer of Islamabad United, has said that what Babar Azam explained to me was applied against his own team and benefited.

In a special conversation with Geo, Rahmanullah Garbaz said that the start was good but later he could not play well. Not fully satisfied with what was expected of me.

He said that in the remaining matches I will try to score well for the team, I will enter the field with full planning for the next matches.

Rahmanullah Garbaz said that everyone enjoys Azam Khan’s batting, he hits big sixes.

He also said that I do mischief in the team but not as mischievous as Hasan Ali.

Rehmanullah Garbaz said that I would have been included in the roti gang, I bring dry fruits from Afghanistan.

He said that everyone in Islamabad United is like a family, playing cricket in the league is not the only goal, creating good memories is also important.

He said that in franchise league you get a good chance to understand other players, in international cricket you don’t get a chance to know each other.

Rehmanullah Garbaz said that you get to learn a lot in franchise cricket, the basis of cricket is the same, the advice of legends is not different.

He said that here I consult one player for batting and that is Babar Azam.

He said that Babar and my batting style are different but I ask him about the mindset of consistency in performance.

Rehmanullah Garbaz said that the presence of Afghan players here before the series against Pakistan is useful for us as well as for Pakistan.

He also said that right now my focus is on franchise cricket, PSL will be completed then Pakistan will focus on Afghanistan series.

He said that the Afghanistan cricket team is not the same as before, franchise cricket has benefited a lot, our team has become quite good in T20.
